At a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Technical Regulation, Application of Sanitary, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Measures held under the chairmanship of Viktor Nazarenko, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, draft amendments to the Customs Union's technical regulation "Safety of Motor Roads" were approbated to be sent for public discussion. Besides, the Advisory Committee generally supported a revision of draft amendments to the Customs Union's technical regulation "On Safety of Toys" to be considered by the EEC Board.
Amendments to the lists of standards to the technical regulation "On Safety of Light Industry Products" and an updated revision of the program for developing interstate standards to the technical regulation "On Safety of Products Intended for Children and Adolescents" were also approbated for consideration at a meeting of the EEC Board.
The Advisory Committee recommended that the Procedure for Interaction between the Eurasian Economic Union Member States in Introducing Emergency Phytosanitary Measures and draft amendments to the Regulation on the Uniform Procedure for Veterinary Control (Supervision) at the EAEU Customs Border and within the Union’s Customs Territory would be sent for consideration at a meeting of the EEC Board.
Following the Advisory Committee meeting it was decided that a meeting of the Commission's Board will consider draft amendments to the Uniform sanitary, epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products (goods) subject to sanitary and epidemiological supervision (control) in terms of adding the requirements for personal hygiene products for women.
Upon proposals by the authorized authorities of the Union Member States, the Advisory Committee approved the updated compositions of the subcommittee on phytosanitary quarantine measures and the Phytosanitary Measures Working Group.
