The EEC Minister has noted that the penetration of digital technologies into every aspect of human life plays an oversize role in forming a transparent ecosystem of tax authorities and taxpayers of the EAEU countries, contributing to the establishment of a partnership dialogue between the State and the business community, reducing the administrative burden and, as a result, increasing tax payments.
"The labor costs of the EAEU countries’ companies are reduced due to digitizing tax processes. For example, the costs for supporting tax audits decreased by 30% in the Russian Federation. At the same time, budget revenues increased by 2.9 trn rubles (by more than 29%) over 6 months of this year. Tax revenues to the budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan increased by almost 32% over the same period. And tax payments to the budget of the Republic of Armenia are planned to grow by almost 18% in 2021", Ruslan Beketaev reported.
The EEC Minister has also stressed that nowadays the EEC, jointly with the EAEU countries, is actively engaged on introducing a traceability system for goods imported into the single customs territory which should become one of the tools to combat shadow economy and tax evasion.
