Ruslan Davydov: "The EEC is strengthening cooperation between government and businesses to improve the efficiency of customs administration"

Issues related to improving the procedure for labeling goods in customs warehouses, changes to transit declarations, and deadlines for placing previously exported goods under the re-import procedure were discussed at a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Customs Regulation chaired by Ruslan Davydov, Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The EEC Minister emphasized the special role of the Advisory Committee as a tool for facilitating efficient interaction between regulatory authorities and foreign economic activity participants, aimed at achieving an optimal balance of interests within the Eurasian economic space.

The meeting approved the creation of two new working groups. The first is intended to develop an information exchange system with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the second will do a comprehensive review of customs transit issues in the Union.
