Ruslan Davydov, Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, took part in the plenary session of the 2nd International Research-to-Practice Conference "Dimensions of Eurasian Integration: Transport and Logistics, Energy and Food Security" in Moscow.In his speech Ruslan Davydov told about the role of customs in promoting foreign trade of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and logistics changes in the new geopolitical circumstances. He has stressed that customs administration is one of the key factors in establishing and developing new North–South and East–West international transport and logistics corridors and an efficient tool for increasing the EAEU trade turnover with the Global South countries.
The EEC Minister also spoke about the work being done by the EEC to improve customs regulation and create favorable environment for businesses and citizens.
Ruslan Davydov announced the use of electronic navigation seals to track shipments in the EAEU since February 11, 2026. Applying breakthrough technologies is a milestone event for the Eurasian integration, as it takes the Union to a new technological level, facilitates trade, and simplifies control operations.
