This was stated by Sergei Glazyev, Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, during the first international forum "Russia-Mongolia. Partnership in a New Reality", held on May 27-28 in Ulan-Ude in a mixed format.

As Sergei Glazyev noted at the plenary session, Mongolia became the first State to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission in 2015. Since then, a Working Group operates and discusses relevant matters of broadening economic ties between the EAEU Member States and Mongolia.

"We consider Mongolia as our key partner in Asia. We would really appreciate if the Cooperation Plan between the EEC and the Government of Mongolia until 2025 being elaborated now, could provide for new achievements as well as new opportunities for extending our trade, economic, cooperation and investment relations", Sergei Glazyev stated.
