The applicant for the project is Sberbank PJSC (Russia). The project is implemented by the Kurgan Machine Building Plant involving enterprises from Belarus and Kazakhstan, which supply component parts for the manufacture of finished products.

“The project forms a value chain, builds long-term sustainable economic ties, and creates new jobs at enterprises within the Eurasian Economic Union countries,” highlighted Gohar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The project implementation will enable increasing the production of complex road machines (CRM) and garbage removal trucks co-manufactured at the new production facility of the Kurgan plant. The plans include organizing serial production of equipment for CRM with the output of at least 530 units per year by 2029.

The financial support mechanism for the EAEU countries' manufacturers provides for subsidizing the interest rate on loans and credits issued by financial institutions to implement joint projects from the EAEU budget.

“Participation in the mechanism will enable the enterprise to reduce its interest rate from 23% to 6.5%,” the EEC Minister emphasized.
