Vitaly Vovk, Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Industrial Policy Department, gave an online presentation of the EAEU financial support mechanism for cooperation projects in industry at the International Forum "FEZs and SEZs as Drivers of Integration Processes within the Union State and the EAEU". The event took place in Vitebsk, Belarus.
"Today, free and special economic zones offer the most favorable conditions for production development — tax exemptions and customs privileges, efficient and convenient one-window administration system, professional management," mentioned Vitaly Vovk. "The use of the financial support mechanism in combination with such preferences will additionally enable manufacturers to implement the most ambitious projects and will be a good incentive for the development of cooperation in the EAEU countries."
Vitaly Vovk urged businesses of the Member States to be more active in engaging the financial cooperation mechanism.
During the event, representatives of government agencies, business communities and economic zones of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia discussed topical areas of industrial cooperation, as well as exchanged experience in attracting investments.
The Forum was organized on the initiative of FEZ Vitebsk Administration with the support from the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and SEZs of Russia.
