The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved amendments to the Program for developing interstate standards that ensure the implementation and application of the Technical Regulation "On Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetic Products."

The amendments envisage developing five interstate standards, including two standards for detecting formaldehyde in perfumery and cosmetic products based on the standards of the People's Republic of China; two standards for test methods for sunscreens based on ISO international standards; and one standard for Halal perfumery and cosmetic products based on the standard of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).

It is also planned to make amendments to nine interstate standards.
