Almaz Tynchtykbekovich Abdekirov was born in 1986. In 2008, he graduated from the Kyrgyz National University with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics, and in 2023, he completed his Master's Degree in Economics at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He began his career in 2008 as an intern at the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and by the end of 2025 he headed the Ministry’s macroeconomic policy directorate.

Since January 12, 2026, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Macroeconomic Policy Department.
