EAEU Industrial Policy Council's meeting held as part of Innoprom.Belarus Exhibition

As part of the Innoprom.Belarus exhibition, a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union's Industrial Policy Council discussed the implementation progress of the financial support mechanism for industrial cooperation in the EAEU, promising areas of cooperation between the Union States in civil aircraft engineering, shipbuilding, manufacture of railway rolling stock and wheeled passenger vehicles, as well as the creation of the thematic EAEU Industry portal.
"Each of the Union countries has its national strategies and production development programs. A subsidy from the Commission can be used together with national support measures. This will allow the authorized agencies to implement the initiatives of Heads of State and Government by attracting funds of the financial support mechanism," mentioned Goar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Within the exhibition program Goar Barseghyan took part in the ceremony of signing the main commercial terms and conditions to localize essential pharmaceuticals between Geropharm and Belmedpreparaty, the pharma companies of Russia and Belarus.
"Ensuring drug safety and technological sovereignty in the pharmaceutical industry remains topical for the Eurasian Five countries and is being actively discussed at the highest level," noted the EEC Minister.
Cooperation between Geropharm LLC and Belmedpreparaty RUE had been established at the EEC venue in 2023.
