Askar Japparkulov

Biography

Askar Abdisattarovich Japparkulov was born on March 15, 1981.

He graduated from the Taraz State University named after M.H. Dulati, specialty "Lawyer", and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, specialty "Economist" (2006). He graduated from the University of Leicester (England), specialty "Master of Financial Economics" under the Bolashak Presidential Program of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He started his career in 2001 and held various positions in the private and public sector.

From December 2011 to October 2020, he worked in the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He held the positions of Chief Expert, Head of Macroeconomic Forecasting and Modeling Directorate, Deputy Director of Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasting Department, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Protection and Development of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On November 10, 2020, he was appointed Director of Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
