On June 16, the round table “The EAEU and its trading partners: the common economic space”, a part of SPIEF 2016, will take place in St. Petersburg

Page ContentThere is currently a drift towards regionalisation in the global economy: large-scale regional associations are being formed and new models of interaction between them are being established. Will this lead to the formation of a healthier global economy and common economic space? Or will it lead to countries being unified in “exclusive clubs” and, consequently, the fragmentation of the trade and economic area? How should the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) respond to global economic challenges more effectively? Is there the potential for Eurasia to have its own regional mega-project? What are the interests of the trading partners of the EAEU? These and other questions will be discussed by the round table participants at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2016.
