EEC Minister Gegham Vardanyan made presentation of "Work Without Borders" project for CIS countries

Gegham Vardanyan, EEC Minister in charge of Internal Markets, Information and ICT, made a presentation of the unified search system "Work Without Borders" for members of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The event was held in Moscow.

Gegham Vardanyan informed on the objectives, special aspects and prospects of the digital project development.

The EEC Minister noted that citizens of the Union countries had already begun to actively use the search system since starting “Work Without Borders". It is planned that during the year the number of users will amount at least 500 thousand and there will be about a million applications. At least 100 thousand job applications as well as at least 10 thousand invitations from employers are expected.

Vardanyan has stressed that the project helps ensure the interaction between the Union States’ labor markets by means of digital tools. “Work Without Borders" was created with due regard to the requirements of the EAEU countries’ national legislation and its distributed architecture enables storing data assets in national systems. Along with that, users' personal data is neither stored nor transferred from system to system.

It should be noted that at the initiative of the CIS Executive Committee, the "Work Without Borders" project was presented at the Economic Council’s meeting to broaden its implementation.

The meeting was also attended by Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Vardan Toganyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation, and others.
