Number of places in the EAEU secondary schools increased by 17% in 9 months of 2021

From January to September 2021, the number of pupil places created in secondary schools of the Eurasian Economic Union countries increased by 17% compared to the same period last year. A total of 118.5 thousand places have been introduced: in Armenia – 1 thousand, in Belarus -–6.8 thousand, in Kazakhstan – 10.2 thousand, in Kyrgyzstan – 1.2 thousand, in Russia – 99.3 thousand.

However, almost 11% fewer pupil places were introduced for the same period in 2020 compared to 2019.

Positive dynamics is also noted in the commissioning of such social facilities as in-patient beds. From January to September 2021, the number of in-patient beds created on average across the EAEU increased by 49%, the largest increase was noted in Kazakhstan – 6.5 times.
