The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission extended the anti-dumping duty on cold-deformed seamless stainless steel pipes originating from China and Malaysia until March 5, 2024 inclusive.
The current measure was to expire on December 11, 2023. However, the EEC Department for Internal Market Protection received an application, which resulted in the repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated on March 6, 2023.
"The EAEU regulatory framework provides for extending the current anti-dumping measure for the period of repeated investigation which should be completed within 12 months from the date of its commencement," the EEC Trade Unit reminded.
The anti-dumping duty on cold-deformed seamless stainless steel pipes from China was established in 2013 at 19.15% of the customs value. In 2017, the measure was extended to Malaysia, and in 2018 it was prolonged for another five years.
