Vladimir Sinkevich

Biography

Vladimir Sinkevich was born in 1965 in Senno, Vitebsk Region (Republic of Belarus).

In 1988, he graduated from the Sanitary and Hygiene Faculty of Minsk State Medical Institute, in 2011 — from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus, specializing in Public Administration of Social Sphere.

He began his career in 1988 at the Vitebsk City Sanitary and Epidemiological Station (later the Vitebsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus as an epidemiologist. Later he worked in this institution in various positions, including from 2005 to 2010 as Chief State Sanitary Inspector of Vitebsk — Chief Medical Officer of the State Institution "Vitebsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology".

In 2010-2024, he was Chief State Sanitary Inspector of Vitebsk Region — Chief Medical Officer of the State Institution "Vitebsk Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health".

Since October 28, 2024, he was appointed Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Department for Sanitary, Phytosanitary and Veterinary Measures.
