Valentin Tataritsky

Biography

He was born on April 21, 1963 in Zhdanovichi Village, Stolbtsy District, Minsk Region.

In 1986, he graduated from the Minsk Radio Engineering Institute, majoring in Semiconductors and Dielectrics.

From 1986 to 1999, he was Engineer of different official levels at the Sensor Plant of the Minsk Production Association "Horizont" and the research and production complex of microelectronics "Signal" created at its premises.

From 1999, he held senior management positions at Rudensk OJSC, and in 2009 he was appointed its Director. In the same year he graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus, majoring in Economics and Management at Industrial Enterprises.

From 2015 to 2019, he was First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus.

From 2019 to 2024 , he was Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus.

Since February 1, 2024, he is Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
He has extensive practical experience in the field of technical regulation, conformity assessment and ensuring uniformity of measurements, and quality management.

He took an active part in the educational activities of the Belarusian National Technical University, being the Chairman of the State Examination Commission for certification of undergraduate and graduate students in the field of metrology, standardization, conformity assessment and quality management. In 2023, he was awarded the title “Honorary Professor of the Belarusian National Technical University.”

He is the author of a number of articles on metrology, standardization, conformity assessment and quality management.

He was awarded the medal “For Contribution to Developing the Eurasian Economic Union”, Certificate of Appreciation of the Eurasian Economic Forum, and Certificate of Appreciation of the Eurasian Economic Commission. He was awarded the lapel badge "For Contribution to Ensuring Economic Security". He was rewarded by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and other bodies of state administration.
