At the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Heads of EAEU States were presented with a review report on the results of the work done in 2024 in the field of regulating natural monopoly entities.
The document reflects the work of the Eurasian Economic Union countries, including the results of monitoring changes and additions to the regulatory framework of the EAEU States in the field of natural monopolies for compliance with the principles and rules established by the Treaty on the Union. The document also includes the results of lawmaking activities of the EAEU countries and measures of natural monopoly entities to apply energy efficient technologies.
The report is prepared by the Eurasian Economic Commission on an annual basis jointly with the regulators of the Union States in accordance with paragraph 20, subparagraph 5 of the Protocol on Common Principles and Rules for Regulating Natural Monopolies (Annex No. 20 to the Treaty on the EAEU).
