On March 4, Moscow hosted the second meeting of
the Advisory Statistics Committee under the EEC Board, chaired by Tatiana
Valovaya, Member of the Board (Minister) for Main Areas of Integration and
Macroeconomics.
On March 4, Moscow hosted the second meeting of
the Advisory Statistics Committee under the EEC Board, chaired by Tatiana
Valovaya, Member of the Board (Minister) for Main Areas of Integration and
Macroeconomics.
At the meeting, the main EEC statistics activity lines were identified for 2013-2015; draft Agreement on information interoperability in statistics was approved; the List of official statistical information to be provided to the Commission by the Parties’ authorized agencies following the signing of the Agreement was approved in the first readying; the results were drawn concerning the transmission to the annual GDP benchmarking by parity of purchasing power of the CU and the CES currencies; priority tasks were identified in quality assurance for internal and external statistics, including organization of meetings for the Parties’ experts at the Commission’s venue to benchmark the mutual trade statistics.
In addition to the already established subcommittees on economic statistics and external and mutual trade statistics, the participants established a committee on financial statistics.
Summarizing the results of the meeting, the Advisory Committee members agreed to hold a regular meeting in May 2013 in Moscow.
The meeting of the Advisory Committee was attended by the representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic.
