Andrey Slepnev, Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, made a working visit to Astana, the key events of which were meetings with representatives of the business community of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as Serik Zhumangarin, Member of the EEC Council and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Arman Shakkaliev, Minister of Trade and Integration.
As part of the event held at the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Andrey Slepnev answered questions related to tariff and non-tariff regulation, marking of goods with identification means, as well as internal trade in the Union. A working meeting with Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of Atameken NCE was held.
Consultations with the heads of public authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan were devoted to the current agenda of interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union.
"Face-to-face meetings with the EAEU countries' officials and live communication with the business community definitely contribute to promoting our common integration agenda and ensure due consideration of the interests of the business community," the EEC Minister in charge of Trade noted following the visit.
