Anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes from India extended for the period of repeated investigation

The Eurasian Economic Commission's Board has extended the anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes from India up to and including May 16, 2024.

The applied measure shall expire on September 24, 2023. However, the EEC Department for Internal Market Defence received an application, which resulted in the repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated on May 17, 2023.

"The EAEU regulatory framework provides for extending the current anti-dumping measure for the period of repeated investigation which should be completed within 12 months from the date of its commencement," the EEC Trade Unit noted.

For reference

The anti-dumping duty for graphite electrodes from India imported into the EAEU customs territory was established by Decision No. 156 of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board dated September 25, 2018. The anti-dumping duty rates are currently 16.04% of the customs value for HEG Limited and 32.83% for Graphite India Limited and other manufacturers.
