Askar Japparkulov congratulated Belarus State Economic University on its 90th anniversary

Askar Japparkulov, Director of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, informed on the development of cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union countries, including as part of implementing the Strategy-2025 in the field of education, at the International Congress "Economics, Education, Human Resources", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Belarus State Economic University, held on May 19 in Minsk. The event was aimed at promoting the development of the educational sphere within the Union.

“The Regulation on interaction between the Commission and the Union States' higher education institutions was approved to widely involve higher education institutions, the academia and students of the Union countries in the processes of its functioning, to develop economic cooperation in the field of education, to study international best practices and to conduct analytical work. At present, the Commission has concluded six cooperation programs with the EAEU countries' universities," Askar Japparkulov said.

The Commission's significant contribution to developing the EAEU education was the preparation of the first textbook "Eurasian Economic Integration: Theory and Practice", which describes in detail the EAEU integration processes, the legal framework, formats and practice of working out agreed solutions by the Union States in all functional areas of integration development. On behalf of Sergei Glazyev, EEC Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics, Askar Japparkulov presented the manual to Alexey Egorov, Rector of the Belarus State Economic University, and donated several copies to the University's library holdings.
