The issues of the Eurasian Economic Union’s functioning and prospects for cooperation with the European business community were discussed by Bakytzhan Sagintaev, Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Ulf Schneider, Chairman of the Board of the Lisbon-Vladivostok International Business Initiative, at a working meeting held on August 4 at the EEC’s headquarters.

Ulf Schneider informed on the activities carried out by the Lisbon-Vladivostok International Business Initiative. The meeting attendees compared notes
on its prospects in the current environment, discussed relevant matters of developing the Eurasian economic integration in light of the European business expectations, and agreed to continue the dialogue.
