The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board has approved amendments to the Program for developing interstate standards for the EAEU Technical Regulation "On safety of fish and fish products".

They provide for including three new additional items in the document owing to which the Russian Federation will be able to revise interstate standards for canned natural shrimps, fish liver and canned fish and vegetables.

The current interstate standards for these products were developed more than five years ago and fail to cover modern technological aspects of manufacturing canned products from aquatic biological resources.
