Rustan Jenalinov appointed Director of EEC Transport and Infrastructure Department
Rustan Zhanatovich Jenalinov was born on January 1, 1975 in Pavlodar (Republic of Kazakhstan).
In 1997, he graduated from Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov with a degree in automobile and tractor engineering, and was qualified as a mechanical engineer. In 2002, he graduated from Kazakh Humanitarian Law University with a degree in Jurisprudence, qualifying as a lawyer.
He started his career in 1997 as an engineer in the Production and Technical Department of Akmola Motor Transport Enterprise No. 1.
From 1999 to 2002, he worked as a Lead Specialist of the Road Transport Office of the Road and Water Transport Department, then as a Division Head of the Road Transport Department, then as a Division Head of the Road Transport Office of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2002, he was appointed Head of the Transit Policy Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2006 to 2009, he served as Secretary General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) TRACECA.
From 2009 to 2010, he worked as Head of Division of the OSCE Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then as Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2010 to 2012, he served as Advisor to the Minister, Director of the Department for Strategic Planning and Development of Transport and Communications Complex, Director of the Department for Strategic Planning and Logistics of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2012 to 2013, he worked as Vice President and then President of the National Center for Development of Transport Logistics JSC under the National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC.
From 2013 to 2016, he held the position of Director of the Transport Logistics Development Center, a branch of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC.
Since 2017, he worked as Managing Director - Director of the Logistics and Transportation Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
