EEC and Moscow Power Engineering Institute signed a cooperation program

On February 27, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, and Nikolai Rogalev, Rector of the NRU Moscow Power Engineering Institute, signed a cooperation program for 2023–2024 at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The Head of the EEC Board noted that in recent years, young people in the Eurasian Economic Union countries have increasingly shown interest in Eurasian economic integration.

"We are building a systematic cooperation with higher educational institutions within the EAEU," Mikhail Myasnikovich emphasized. "The Commission and our Union need new, well-trained young personnel and their non-standard ideas, including in the most important energy sector."

Arzybek Kozhoshev, EEC Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure took part in the solemn signing ceremony. According to him, NRU MPEI is a leading Russian university, which trains recognized specialists in energy, electrical engineering, radio engineering and electronics for many states in the post-Soviet space and third countries.

Signing the cooperation program has become a logical continuation of the close cooperation between the Commission and NRU MPEI and, according to Arzybek Kozhoshev, a member of the Board for Energy and Infrastructure, will positively affect further development of integration processes in energy within the Eurasian economic space.
