EEC consolidated antitrust practice in EAEU transboundary markets

The law enforcement and judicial practice of the Eurasian Economic Union on competition and antitrust regulation over the period of 2017 to 2021 laid the foundation for a compendium prepared by the EEC Competition and Antitrust Regulation Unit jointly with the Center for the Competition Policy Development and Protection as well as the Alliance of Antitrust Experts.

According to Arman Shakkaliev, EEC Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation, the practice of applying antitrust regulation measures in transboundary markets recorded in the compendium will be useful for both practicing lawyers and entrepreneurs of the Union countries.

"Due to the increasing role of the EAEU in the economic life of its Member States, practitioners should understand special aspect of legal regulation of competition within the Eurasian Union”, the Minister noted in his opening words to the compendium.

The publication will be presented on October 7 in Almaty (the Republic of Kazakhstan) on the sidelines of the 7th Eurasian Antitrust Forum.
