A meeting of the Advisory Committee on Statistics of the Eurasian Economic Commission considered the annual results of implementing the Program for Developing Integration in the Field of Statistics of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2021-2025 and the Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025.
The meeting participants discussed the report on the quality assessment system of the EAEU official statistical information for 2024. The he Advisory Committee members emphasized the relevance of this work and concluded that it should be carried out annually. It was also noted that the introduction of digital technologies in statistics will significantly reduce the time needed to produce papers.
The report was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the guidelines for assessing the quality of statistical information of the Union, developed by the EEC Statistics Department jointly with the authorized authorities of the Union states.
The next meeting of the Advisory Committee on Statistics is scheduled for October 2025.
