EEC took part in MADE IN RUSSIA + INNOPROM multi-industry business mission to Saudi Arabia
Nikolay Kushnarev, Director of the Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and representatives of anchor companies and government agencies of Saudi Arabia held negotiations as part of the first Made in Russia + INNOPROM multi-industry mission to Saudi Arabia to strengthen trade relations between foreign partners and extend economic cooperation.
The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and investment opportunities in various industries, including construction, engineering, pharmaceuticals and innovative technologies.
Nikolay Kushnarev attended the business program of the Innoprom exhibition, including the main plenary and specialized sessions involving the heads of public authorities of the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as heads of agencies and major manufacturing companies.
“As a major regional market with an emerging economy, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a priority foreign partner for developing industrial cooperation with the EAEU States. We hope that building mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of manufacturing industry and innovation will contribute to the accelerated development of trade and economic relations in the very near future. We thank the organizers of the Made in Russia + INNOPROM multi-industry business mission for their efforts in holding this successful event and look forward to further development of economic relations between the EAEU countries and Saudi Arabia”, Nikolay Kushnarev noted.
