A manufacturer of food salt from one of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union has filed an application with the Eurasian Economic Commission alleging a violation of the general rules of competition.

When considering the application, the EEC Antimonopoly Regulation Department assesses the state of competition in the food salt commodity market in accordance with the Methodology for Assessing the State of Competition.

In order to determine the opinion of consumers regarding the presence (absence) of similarity of product packages, the Department conducts consumer questionnaires.

The questionnaires contain questions that involve choosing one or more answer options, as well as open-ended questions that involve a different answer option. The results are automatically e-mailed to the EEC Antitrust Department. The questionnaire is anonymous.
