The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission took a decision on the uniform procedure for filling in information on the country of destination or origin in permits for a range of goods subject to non-tariff regulation measures in foreign trade. Thanks to that customs authorities will be able to indicate several countries in the corresponding line of the document.
"The adopted amendments will allow to issue one report on importing (exporting, transiting) goods for several countries according to a foreign trade contract, which will contribute to lowering time and material expenditures of participants in foreign trade activities," explained Vahagn Ghazaryan, Director of EEC Department for Customs Tariff and Non-Tariff Regulation.
According to him, the burden on authorized authorities will also be reduced as they will no longer have to issue separate documents for each country when goods are moved in the framework of one contract.
Development of the draft EEC Board's decision was initiated by the Eurasian Economic Commission in part acting on requests from business communities.
The Decision shall come into effect after 30 calendar days have elapsed from the date of its official publication.
