On February 28, experts from government agencies and business communities of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union at the regular meeting of the Working Group on customs declaring procedure under the relevant Advisory Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission discussed a number of initiatives of the EAEU countries aimed at introducing changes to the procedure for filling out declarations for goods.
The experts considered optimization criteria for specifying information about containers to increase the efficiency of customs control and reduce the number of checks, as well as the procedure for registering or refusing to register a declaration for goods, transit declarations and vehicle declarations.
In addition, the meeting participants were informed about the progress of other previously agreed upon draft decisions of the EEC Board, including as part of the procedure for assessing their regulatory impact.
