In March 2024, the consumer price index for goods and services in the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to 100.4% compared to February 2024 and to 102% compared to December 2023.
As compared to March 2023, the largest increase in prices across the EAEU was registered for paid services (by 8.7%). During this period, prices for food products increased by 7.5%, and prices for non-food products grew by 6.7%.
The increase in prices for food products higher than in the EAEU was registered in Russia (by 8.1%). The largest increase in prices for non-food products was recorded in Kyrgyzstan (by 9.6%) and Kazakhstan (by 8.2%), for paid services – in Kazakhstan (by 13.2%) and Kyrgyzstan (by 9.2%).
