Maksat Mamytkanov, Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, congratulated employees of the customs authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union countries on their professional holiday, International Customs Day, that is celebrated on January 26.
"Customs service is an important element in ensuring national security, an efficient regulator of foreign trade and a significant instrument influencing economic processes. This is the field where the States of our Union cooperate very closely and fruitfully in line with the Unified Customs Code," emphasized Maksat Mamytkanov in his congratulatory letter.
The EEC Minister believes that the high professionalism of EAEU customs officers and their dedication will continue to help them cope with their tasks. In his opinion, the traditionally warm and friendly relations between the Commission and the customs services of the Eurasian Economic Union countries will grow stronger and improve.
Maksat Mamytkanov wished all employees and veterans of the Union's customs authorities good health, well-being and professional success for the benefit of their countries and Eurasian integration.
