Mutual trade increased by one third and exceeded 73 bln US dollars in 2021

According to the updated data, the volume of mutual trade was at the high during the Eurasian Economic Union’s functioning and amounted to 73.1 bln US dollars in 2021, which is 32.8% more than in 2020 and 18.6% higher than in 2019.

The growth of exports in mutual trade was registered in all the Union States. The largest growth was observed in Kyrgyzstan (by 42.7%) and Kazakhstan (by 37.8%).

The share of mutual trade in the EAEU foreign trade turnover amounted to 14.6% in 2021. The largest growth was registered in Kazakhstan: the share of mutual trade in total volume of foreign trade increased by 2.5 p.p.
