The Statistics Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission published the compendium "Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the Eurasian Economic Union Region". The compendium presents statistical data on the regional list of indicators for achieving SDGs in the Eurasian Economic Union for 2018-2022. The regional list comprises 130 indicators, including 63 indicators proposed for monitoring at the global level, as well as 67 indicators reflecting development priorities in the EAEU.
For example, in 2022, from 3.9% of the population in Belarus to 33.2% in Kyrgyzstan live below the national poverty line in the EAEU countries. The poverty rate decreased in all the Union countries compared to last year, except for Kazakhstan, where it remained at the same level.
In 2022 the share of expenses on food and non-alcoholic beverages in the total amount of household consumption expenditures decreased in most of the EAEU countries and amounted from 32.9% in Russia to 51.2% in Kazakhstan.
The expectation of life at birth increased in all the EAEU countries compared to 2021. Male life expectancy ranged from 67.57 years in Russia to 71.43 years in Armenia, while female life expectancy ranged from 76.31 years in Kyrgyzstan to 78.41 years in Kazakhstan. The maternal mortality ratio in 2022 decreased in all the EAEU countries.
The average unemployment rate across the EAEU decreased by 0.7 percentage points. The share of women in total employment in the EAEU increased by 0.1 percentage points compared to 2021, while the share of women in senior management positions increased only in Kazakhstan (by 1.8 percentage points).

The Global Indicator Framework for the Sustainable Development Goals and Targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was developed and approved at the 47th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission to monitor the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
A regional list of indicators for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals was elaborated and approved at the meeting of the Advisory Committee on Statistics on April 25, 2022 based on the Global Indicator Framework with due regard to the objectives of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014 on achieving free movement of goods, services, labor and capital. It includes 130 indicators, including 63 indicators proposed for monitoring at the global level, as well as 67 indicators reflecting development priorities in the Eurasian Economic Union.
