The Statistics Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission has published a study on the labor market in the Eurasian Economic Union for 2018 – 2022.
The study provides data on the number of labour force, employed and unemployed, their composition and structure by gender, age and education level. The employed population is classified by its educational attainment, employment status and economic activity. Unemployed persons – by their education level, duration and ways of job searching. The compendium also contains indicators characterizing registered unemployment, movement of labor and jobs.
In 2022, the EAEU population amounted to 185.5 mln people; the labour force amounted to 93.4 mln people (48.2 mln men and 45.2 mln women), including 89.5 mln employed people. The registered unemployment rate at year-end 2022 amounted to 0.9% of the labour force. 72.7% of those who applied to employment services were employed.
