The Eurasian Economic Union’s agricultural output in all farm categories increased by 1.8% in January-July 2023 compared to the same period last year. Growth was observed in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
There was an increase in the production of main types of livestock products: livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight) – by 2.4% compared to the same period in 2022; milk – by 3.2%; and eggs – by 1.6%.
An increase in the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) and milk was noted in all EAEU States (excluding the data for Armenia). The maximum increase in egg production was observed in Kyrgyzstan, while there was a decrease in Belarus.
