Since 2020, external debt as a percentage of GDP has been decreasing in all Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Over the previous ten years, a similar simultaneous decrease of this indicator in all Member States was observed in 2017. As of October 1, 2022, the external debt to GDP ratio varied from 21% in Russia to 93% in Kyrgyzstan.
