Natalia Zhukova

Biography

Natalia Pavlovna Zhukova was born in 1960.

In 1984, she graduated from the Minsk State Medical Institute. For 30 years she was working in the field of sanitary, phytosanitary, veterinary measures and consumer protection in various positions in authorities of Belarus.

From 2013 to 2016, she was the chief state sanitary doctor of Minsk.

Since 2016, she held the position of Deputy Minister of Health - Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Belarus. She supervised the entire range of sanitary and epidemiological measures aimed at preventing the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Belarus.

She was appointed Director of the Department of Sanitary, Phytosanitary and Veterinary Measures of the EEC since October 01, 2021.
