In the modern world, artificial intelligence plays an increasingly significant role in everyday life. From personalized recommendations in online stores to intelligent chatbots in help desks, intelligent services have become an integral part of the consumer experience.
However, despite all the advantages, the active use of artificial intelligence tools in trade incurs numerous risks, in particular, abuse of personal data and use of the algorithms that manipulate consumer behavior. In this regard, consumer awareness of the relevant opportunities and risks acquires special importance.
The Eurasian Economic Commission is conducting a population survey on attitudes towards the use of artificial intelligence systems in trade within the Eurasian Economic Union that will last until July 30 this year.
The opinion of residents of the EAEU Member States will help determine priority areas for improving consumer protection in the context of information development.
