The amendments provide for supplements to the list of standards whose application on a voluntary basis ensures compliance with the Technical Regulation, 19 interstate standards and 12 national standards of the Member States.

At the same time, the list of standards containing the rules and methods of research (testing) and measurements, including the rules for sampling, was supplemented by 11 interstate standards and 2 national standards of the Member States.

The Board's decision comes into force 180 calendar days from the date of its official publication, given the need for timely accreditation of testing laboratories with due account for the new standards and methods included in the lists.
