The Eurasian Economic Commission together with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation clarified provisions of the new law on taxis referring to access of citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union countries to employment in the Russian Federation as passenger taxi drivers.

It should be noted that the new requirements apply in equal measure to all taxi drivers in the Russian Federation regardless of their citizenship, including Russian citizens.
