2. What about the bees identification within the Customs Union territory?

Answer:

According to the concept of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code (OIE) on introduction of the animal identification system two marking methods are used for animal tracing, they are individual and group number assigning to animals. Methods of animal identification depend on animals’ species. Concerning bees we apply group identification, issuing apiary passport, where we indicate its veterinary and sanitary condition, provided veterinary handling, etc. However the given approach does not imply marking of any individual bee.
