The 2nd Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) included the session "Business as a Driver of Eurasian Economic Integration: Challenges and Prospects".
The session discussed issues related to business development in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in modern realities, possibilities for improving the business and investment climate and simplifying the internal regulation of business activities, as well as prospects for intensifying investment processes within the EAEU.
"Interests of businesses are fundamental to integration cooperation between the Union States," Bakytzhan Sagintaev, Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, noted.
In this regard, issues related to the further improvement of regulatory policy, the elimination of existing barriers and restrictions, as well as the development of business support mechanisms become increasingly urgent.
The exchange of opinions and proposals at the session will contribute to expanding interaction between entrepreneurs, improving mechanisms for the participation of businesses in the discussion of a wide range of issues within the EAEU, increasing business activity in society and achieving sustainable economic growth in the EAEU countries.
