Page ContentOn March 12, Tair Mansurov, Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of EEC, will hold a press conference in Moscow. The Minister will introduce Committee's current activities on integration development of power engineering and infrastructure with a special focus on 2 documents subject to previous agreement during the Board session on March 10. This is a project of the Concept of common electric power market of the Eurasian Economic Union that has been developed by EEC in collaboration with Parties' ministries and agencies. According to the Agreement on EAEU the common electric power market of the Eurasian Economic Union shall be created by 2019. The Concept defines basic targets and functions of the market, its functional structure, collaboration ways between its subjects and members, and its development milestones. Another highlight of the press conference is a project of the Programme of a stepwise liberalization of road transportation performed by carriers registered in one of the Member States in relation to transportation between locations on the territory of another member state for the period from 2016 until 2025. This applies to coasting transportation. The Programme defines the actions of EAEU Member States towards lifting restrictions for coasting transportation on the territory of EAEU irrespective of the registration location (country), starting from January 1, 2016.
