In April 2023, the consumer price index for goods and services in the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to 100.4% compared to March 2023 and to 102.4% compared to December 2022.
Compared to December, there was a significant increase in prices for paid services (by 3.5%) and food products (by 2.9%). Prices for non-food products increased by 0.9% during this period.
The increase in prices for food products higher than in the EAEU was registered in Kazakhstan (by 5%), Kyrgyzstan (by 3.7%), and Belarus (by 3.6%). The largest increase in prices for non-food products was registered in Kazakhstan (by 3.8%) and Kyrgyzstan (by 2.6%), and the largest increase in prices for paid services was observed in Belarus (by 4.4%).
