In the course of negotiations, a constructive exchange of views took place on disagreements over draft international treaty on establishing the Union’s common gas market, including on the issue sensitive for the Kyrgyz side of transporting and supplying gas from third states to the EAEU territory on a non-discriminatory basis.
Besides, the Ministers discussed preparations for the Eurasian Economic Forum to be held in Bishkek in May 2022, where one of the key topics will be establishing energy markets.
Following the meeting, Temirbek Asanbekov presented the representative of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic with a letter of gratitude on behalf of the Eurasian Economic Commission for their significant contribution to developing the Eurasian economic integration.
