Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board, congratulated Xi Jinping, Head of the PRC and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the PRC, on his re-election as Chairman of the People's Republic of China.

“Your unanimous election by the National People's Congress for a third term is clear evidence of the great Chinese people's genuine support for your policies and the correctness of the chosen course of socio-economic development”, the congratulatory letter reads. “I am confident that, under your wise leadership, China will continue to successfully solve the large-scale tasks facing the country, as well as strengthen its position on the international stage”.

Mikhail Myasnikovich has stressed that the EEC attaches priority to developing mutually beneficial relations between the People's Republic of China and the Eurasian Economic Union countries. Along with that, he expressed hope for further deepening of cooperation, including within the Agreement on trade and economic cooperation.
