EAEU foreign trade increased by 35.5% and exceeded 846 bln US dollars in 2021

According to the updated data, exports of goods to countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union increased by 44.7% in 2021 compared to 2020 and amounted to 527.9 bln US dollars. The growth in exports to foreign market is due to an increase in exports of goods from Belarus by 48.6%, Russia by 47.3%, Kyrgyzstan by 38.2%, Kazakhstan by 25.4% and Armenia by 16.8%.

The price conditions of foreign trade were characterized by a favorable ratio of prices for exported goods and goods purchased by import (the price conditions index was 135.8%).

The main buyers of goods exported from the EAEU were the European Union countries (their share was 41.9% of export deliveries) and APEC countries (28.4%). China and Germany take the lead among the importing countries to the Union market.
